Brother Murray is now engaged in doing meeting work. If you would like to contact him about a meeting you may address him: Oliver Murray, 710 Kiln Street, Lufkin, Texas. Brother Collins also has a radio program each Sunday Morning at 7:45 over KOGT 1600 KC.

McAlester, Oklahoma...: Harold Sharp of Conway, Arkansas, is to be with the Southside church in a series of meetings, beginning March 3rd. Brother Ronnie Pope is the preacher for this good church.

Preachers To New Locations

John A. Thurman moved from Columbus, Georgia, in November, 1962, to work with the church of Christ, Perry, Florida. Even though this congregation is small numerically, having only 58 members, they are determined to do God's will in God's way. This church meets at 712 North Calhoun St. When passing through on Sunday or Wednesday, stop and worship with these brethren.

Kenneth E. Thomas recently began work with the Oak Grove church of Christ, which meets between Jasper and Jennings, Florida, on Highway 41. He formerly preached for the Kirkland, Ill., church. The brethren at Kirkland, Ill., are looking for a preacher who has part of his support.

Charles E. Beatty, formerly of Humble, Texas, is now preaching for the church in Camden Arkansas. This church meets at 1107 Washington St. S. W.

New Congregations

A new congregation was started February 3rd in St. Joseph, Missouri. They are temporarily meeting in a rented building at the corner of 10th and Lincoln. They are looking for a man to preach for them who has some support or is supported by some church. They have not been able, as yet, to determine how much they will be able to support a preacher. Brother O. C. Birdwell of the Vivion Road church of Christ, Kansas City, Kansas, preached the first Sunday. Until a regular preacher is secured, different brethren from the area will preach for them.

More Support Needed

Brother James Jones and family are making plans to go to Norway sometime this summer. He needs more support. He needs travel money and also a regular monthly salary. For further information write him:

James Jones, 1010 Taylor Ave., Richmond 25, Virginia. — 2706 Paul Ave, Lufkin, Texas A. G. Grider, Meridian, Mississippi: The Grider-Totty debate will be held in the Oakland Heights School Auditorium in West Meridian on March 18-23 at 7:30 each evening.

For the first three nights I will affirm the unscripturalness of churches of Christ building and maintaining benevolent organizations. For the last three nights Totty will affirm the scripturalness of the Herald of Truth.

Many of the brethren here are going to furnish sleeping quarters for many people who attend. Whether or not we can "sleep" all will depend upon how many get to come. If possible we will have you a bed to sleep on and you can get meals in town cheap.

We look for a large crowd and I believe a lot of good can be done. The more debates we have the more good we can do. I hope Totty's brethren will bring him back to Mississippi for several more debates. But I guess this one will be their last.

Forrest D. Moyer, 5140 Planet Parkway, Sacramento 23, Calif.: During 1962 I preached in meetings in Bellflower and Selma, Calif.: at the church meeting at 145 N. Country Club Rd. in Tucson, Ariz, and at Sunrise Acres in El Paso, Texas. My association with these churches and their preachers was most pleasant and several souls were baptized into Christ.

In January, 1963, I preached in a meeting at Sparks, Nevada, with bro. Marvine Kelley. In February I go to Los Molinos, Calif., in March to El Cajon, in May to Clovis, and in October to Coalingo, all in California. Also I am to go to Sunrise Acres in El Paso for another meeting.

In Sacramento our work is encouraging. We just completed a gospel meeting with Otis Moyer preaching. Attendance was excellent throughout the meeting and the preaching was faithful to God's book. Not only did we have opportunity to teach many non-members, but also had many brethren present to hear a sermon on institutionalism. Thus far this year we have had three baptized, two restored, and two to place membership. We anticipate a year of solid growth here in Sacramento.
