Which Is Right?

Richard Chrismas, Erie, Kansas

Jude 21: "Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life."

I have read many articles and heard many comments from the members of the church today.

The comments may have given some people the wrong idea about many things.

Is the church truly converted unto God, or is it becoming more and more converted unto gospel preachers and their own ideas rather than to what God has said?

May the church wake up before it is everlastingly too late to be saved and to save.

Is the church doing its work as the Lord wants it to, in order to be pleasing unto him?

The church seems to be drifting into a state of confusion; and there is much division in the church for which the Lord shed his blood. Romans 14:12: "So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."

The church should be more like those in Berea who received the word with all readiness of mind and searched the scriptures daily whether those things were so.

I am sorry to say that the church which is so precious. for which Christ gave his life that we might be saved, has lost sight of the Saviour in some places and is following and believing what some people are saying about brethren, places, etc., one way or the other but taking other people's word. Which will save you, Christ or human opinion?

God will let men reap vain glory for so long. He has done such in times past, and we have examples of this in the Old Testament. The punishment they will receive may be here, or it may be on the judgment day.

The church should have the attitude expressed in Isaiah's vision as it is recorded in our Father's book, the Divine Word of God, in Isaiah 6:8: "Here am I; send me."
